The first time I ever tasted ostrich it had been purchased here. I followed Monte's advice and the steak came out so flavorful. Since then I have purchased ground ostrich, ribs, and steak tips. The quality is amazing and well worth the trip! Crock pot the ribs and you won't regret it!!
A great farm to buy fantastic meat at. Grilled, in curry, stir fry with red pepper sauce, smoked, and now found a good Pitina Friulana recipe to try it in!

Our Story
I am Monte, The Ostrich Cowboy here at HorseFeathers Ostrich Farm. My wife Alison and I started to acquire and breed our ostrich in 2018. We chose ostrich meat as a healthy red meat option that is low in cholesterol and fat, Alpha-gal friendly, and has a lower environmental impact than other red meat species. Our ostriches are raised on our beautiful farm in Webster New Hampshire where we focus on their health and well being.
We are excited to finally have our USDA ostrich meat available to purchase both online and locally.
